Talos VSLS (Variable Speed Limit Sign) is a series of electronic LED displays that inform and warn motorists on highways about the speed limits with which they have to comply with when approaching dangerous locations, tunnel entrances or when passing through a tunnel. Talos VSLS series is an integral part of any ITS (Intelligent Transport System) solution, as it provides timely and accurate information to motorway users. The high brightness of Talos VSLS, makes it visible and legible under any lighting condition, and is fitted with temperature and humidity sensors which make it resistant to environmental conditions IP56.
The unique modular design and construction of Talos VSLS simplifies maintenance and repair procedures, while offering the ability to upgrade at low cost, in order to harmonize with newly developed technology. Finally, Talos VSLS complies fully with the optical and mechanical requirements of the European standard EN 12966 & NTCIP. Talos VSLS is equipped with interfaces for direct connection to PLC, easy integration into any SCADA system, as well as any remote monitoring system.
